Backup & Restore

A licence for Backup & Restore is required for each account included in the backup. One licence covers one e-mail-account, one OneDrive-account, two SharePoint-sites und two Teams. The minimum purchase is 10 licences.

If you need more SharePoint-sites or Teams-backups, these can be purchased separately. Accounts in the backup are deleted if they have not been included in an active backup job for a year. However, you can add these accounts back to your backup at any time.

Compliance Archivierung

Active licences

Compliance archivierung requires a licence for each active account to be archived that is part of regular archiving jobs and has been archived within the last 30 days. An account can be a user, a functional account or a resource. For each active archive licence, two additional Teams and two SharePoint-sites can be archived. The minimum purchase is 10 licences.

Inactive licences

Inactive licences refer to accounts that have not been archived for more than 30 days (e.g. former employees). Access to archive data from inactive accounts is still possible via proxy access or an enterprise search (eDiscovery). You will receive the same number of inactive licences free of charge as the number of licences you have ordered (active licences). Each additional inactive licence is charged at 40% of the active licence cost.

Data management

The "data management" module is based on the same licensing as the "Backup & Restore" module. Booking this module is a prerequisite for ordering the "Data management" module.
